Loh Guan Lye specialist had just got their brand new wing of the hospital open. Well, I was in this brand new hospital and what i can say is....

it's a hotel/shopping mall hospital, the building is so grand, the interior is so so nice that it doesnt even look like a hospital. Besides, the patient's room itself is as fully equipped as a hotel room...

New Desktop

It all happens because i have nothing to do and i wanna save a charge of RM60 from pcdepot of fixing the pc for me. So, here it comes the process of building up my mom's new pc.

Well, my mom gave me a budget of RM1000, so off i go to pcdepot buying everything essential for a basic pc, and spending hours to get it set up... I spent RM30 over, but it shouldnt be a big problem though. bla bla bla, here's the process..

1. Buy everything that is needed, processor, motherboard, ram, bla bla bla .

All the parts needed..

2. screwing the motherboard in

motherboard is in, but nothing else

3. secure the processor in its socket and the heatsink too

this is wat i pay a few hundred bucks for, a small piece of metal

4. RAM, Harddisk, Optical Disk

bit outdated because i never knw that the size of desktop ram is that small now, its half of the size that is in my mind.

5. connecting all those wires, power cable, front panels bla bla bla

and lastly

6. installing an operating system and application for all essential needs

spent around 1-2 hours for the hardware part, fixing this and that and... here comes the software part...

bla bla bla, spent alot of times setting up everything and tada!! a brand new pc for my mom with

E6300 Intel processor

Gigabyte motherboard

2GB DDR2-800 RAM

DVD writer

160GB WD harddisk

and......

everything else integrated, wat to do, money saving ma.

It's a very basic pc, but it's good and nice enough to be used for facebook-ing, cafe-world-ing and farm-villing

Memories of 2009

It was a pleasant year of year 2009, and now its a past. So, talking bout year 2009 of me, it was a happening year to me where I've been plenty of places and did alot of things in that year. And here I am to share what I've done in year 2009.

1. Pulau Jerejak + Chinese New Year Celebration

whooo hoo!! It was years since I really want to visit P. Jerejak, it was previously a health quarantine center but now..... tada!! It is a tourist spot now where u can do wall climbing, cycling, firefox-ing bla bla, it is a good place for team building and so on. Tickets are sold in the counter near Queensbay mall, and it's not expensive ranging from RM50-RM100. bla bla bla, feel it urself - Jerejak

And as usual, Chinese new year celebration! where lots and lots of ang pao will be received, it is always a happy celebration of the year as all my friends will be back to Butteworth. We can hang out wherever place that we want and most importantly whenever we want, it's CNY anyway!

then, it was my education in ....

2. Brisbane, Australia

It is a nice and peaceful place to stay I can say. But, it's just a little bit boring sometimes. Shops and malls were closed at 5-6pm. The streets are like 3am here at 10pm. But, still there are plenty of memories here.

p.s. Gold coast is a nice place to be in and its near to me. Cheers!!

3. Wedding of the decade!

It has been the moment that was long awaited by our family and here it comes! My 1 and only 1 sister getting married. Spent 2 great nights and days for the wedding, and it's a definite no regrets to be back for this wedding. There were 2 wedding nights, 1 for perempuan side and 1 for lelaki side. Personally, I prefer lelaki side more as the atmosphere was way better. But, still I'm happy to be in both of the weddings.

4. Trip To Melbourne

It was my first vacation trip for my summer vacation. I flew to Melbourne just after i finish my final exam. Spent more than 10days there and it was a fun and memorable trip. Melbourne is a nice place to live, it is a real city!

5. Cameron Highlands

A re-visit to Cameron Highlands nearly a decade after my last visit. It is actually a whole new place for me because i remember nth of my last visit. The weather is perfect in cameron and the sceneries are nice. bla bla bla, it is a nice place to be with either with a whole bunch of friends or ur family. Remember to have a steamboat session there!

6. Trip to KL

A fun and memorable trip, came to know more ppl and more places.

7. Bali Countdown 09-10

This was the trip of the year where planning begun at early of the year or even year 2008. It was a very memorable trip. The countdown + fireworks at Kuta, Bali is superb!! Fireworks are like water that night, u can see it throughout the entire beach. Big crowds are over the beach and there it goes, year 2009... whooo hooo!! Barley Barli Bali !

It was an interesting year to me, hopefully year 2010 will be good as well!
