Kaya - Rich Homemade

It's been 2 weeks since I'm back from Malaysia, 3 bottles of kaya spread was brought back to Australia by my housemate. But, 2 bottles are gone in just a week, so we came up the idea to produce our very own Brisbane's Kaya and here it is!

There are only 3 ingredients that are needed - sugar, coconut, eggsssssss..

First, mix the eggs and sugar together, beat it until it really mix well

Then add in the coconut and continue beating like this

yea, its going to take a while so its a good idea to have friends or mayb family around to ease ur boring-ness and tired-ness

then heat it up to evaporate the water but make sure u dun over heat it..

p.s. its a good idea to heat it using boil water instead of direct heating.

World Cup 2010 in 3D

Well, it was normal color TV for world cup 2006, then it went out of surprise that we can actually watch world cup 2010, south afirca in High Defination 720 or 1080, well not really surprise though.....

But then I just realized.... Australia is broadcasting the matches in 3D!!!

I was like, harmi?! 3D ?! It must be something where the balls will eventually came out from the screen

lastly, the broadcast is free...FREE!!!!

well, its not absolutely free.... u have to own a 3D tv which might cost you a few thousand?

who cares? Its 3D man!

But there are still ppl like me, who doesnt even own a TV.... Too bad..

Healthy Dinner

Ingredients :

1 Big Brown Onion

1/2 Iceberg Lettuce

120g 4 Leaves Salad Mix

1 Apple

200g Chicken Breast

A lot of potatoes

Step 1: Boiled the potatoes till max!

Step 2: Cut all available ingredients to small cubics

Step 3: Mashed the potatoes

Step 4: Mix all the stuff with any dressing, Italian dressing was used.

Step 5: Serve and makan

Step 6: Beg others to eat more potatoes

Step 7: Regret for putting too much of potatoes, potato-suffering.

UV filter

Just got 3 brand new Marumi UV filters from Citiwide, tested the filter with diff things and it turns out to be not that bad. In fact, it is is way way better than the previous fake Hoya filter that I've got from ebay, seller's name Roxsen. Yea, do beware of him, selling super fake filters. He was selling non coated fake filters as Hoya multi-coated filter.

I've emailed the Hoya and they said they've stop manufacturing HMC Hoya filter like 3 years ago..... Hmmmm.... it sounds funny right? stop manufactured years ago but there is still hell lots of HMC Hoya filter in the market, and I'm pretty sure 80% of them are fakes.. so beware when you are buying Hoya's filter.

So, taking the experienced that I've earned, I've decided to stick with a less famous brand which turns out to be Marumi and here it is, performing well yet satisfying. At least it isnt fake,

1st semi-photoshoot with my camera

It was a pleasant Friday, and I was about to go to the city to ask for some tourism information, then here comes the idea, hmmmm why not go to the city with our cameras instead, so we can have shots of our city yet trying out my new camera...

It arrives!!

Yeah, it did arrive, no doubt,lol. What is it?? It's my brand new camera, whoo hoo, I just got my Canon EOS 500D! It wasn't till the next morning that the camera was delivered, I finally received my camera. My housemate signed the parcel for me, and I was so excited that I get up and un-wrapped the camera immediately it was received. Checking the manuals and stuff, then I realized, oh no, I havent got my SD memory card yet....

soo....

I end up being late to the class even I've actually left my home an hour earlier. The reason? I went to Umart to grab a brand new 8GB class 6 SD card. Hoho, was charging the battery for the whole day, and after finishing a hard day of classes, I'm back home! testing my camera!

Junk food No 2

the door bell rang at 9am, I was sleeping, but i jump up from my bed and quickly ran to the phone, hmmmm.... Auspost send somebody to my unit....

I thought it was suppose to be DHL ... disappointed.. it wasnt here yet... Though I dint get my stuff, But i get plenty of sweets instead....

Chips Chips Chips

It's been a while since I've updated, been busy-ing on uni's stuff lately, test , test, test , prac, prac, prac, demo demo demo and projects! arghhh, its always tough in the final year of engineering.

These are some really yummy potato chips, which cost about 4aud usually and its 2.50aud now! What a deal! Hmmmmm, so there is no more excuse on resisting, huh?!

Upgrading Macbook to 4GB (2x2GB) RAM

It's been a while since I realized my 2GB of RAM can no longer satisfy my mac. I've been eagerly hunting for RAMs lately and finally gt mine like a week be4 today, and here it finally comes, sailing through the pacific ocean from US to here. tadaa!

I was so desperate for the RAM that I'm late to my meeting on the reason of installing my ram. It took me 30-40minutes, it was easy.

And once installation is done, started my mac and here it goes, smooth smooth smooth interface. No more Pageouts!

It's easy to upgrade ur ram and it wont void the warranty unless u did something real silly. so try it out!

Back to Australia

It's been a while since i left australia and now I'm back to my house. Spent some time cleaning up stuff and tidying up.

I've been away for so long that even the carrot i bought which is in the fridge is early a tree

Brisbane. this place is kinda familiar yet unfamiliar to me since my return. No doubt, alot of new students were enrolled in the uni. But, the people here are no longer as friendly as before, maybe this is merely the difference between the people that i recently met and before.

it's a hotel/shopping mall hospital, the building is so grand, the interior is so so nice that it doesnt even look like a hospital. Besides, the patient's room itself is as fully equipped as a hotel room...
